Alpineashe Bandit "Scotty" our dearly loved first purebred border collie who taught us all we new about working dogs. Scotty was a true and loyal friend. And is sadly missed by all of our family. He is the foundation dog of our lines and lives on in each and every dog we have bred today. Scotty read the book on herding and knew every word we said to him. You only get one good dog in a life time some have said and they were right about that. Scotty was the best. Every day I see little snippets of him in his grandsons grandaughters nieces and nephews, great great grandsons and great great grandaughters and with them Scotty will always be here with us. This is Scotty in the veterans class held the year before he died he was fourteen in this shot.
