Breeding them for around 15 years. A small stud situated in East Gippsland, Bairnsdale, which is 3 hours East of Melbourne in the Sunny Riviera. Alpineash Bandit "Scotty" was our first purebred Border Collie. Sadly he passed away at 14 1/2 years of age. He is the foundation dog of our lines today. Every day I see his handsome face in his progeny. Not only has Hamish proven himself in the show ring, he has excelled in producing progeny that can continue to shine with so many of his sons and daughters, grandaughters and grandsons competing in the show ring and the obedience ring you have been a great ambassador for this magic breed.
How It All Began... Au Ch Tambovale Tornado, "Hamish" My first home bred Australian Champion. Hamish is eleven years young now and still chasing balls, fetching sticks and generally living the good life now. Hamish is an Alpineash Bandit, Scotty, Great Grandson. He has managed to breed on as you will see from the following photos of His daughter, grand daughter, great grandsons and great grandaughters. I am proud to be associated with this beautiful breed of dog, and feel privilidged to have been able to help improve and maintain the breed standard and keep their natural ability to work stock in the process. Hamish's daughter Au Champion Calender Girl HT has been awarded the title of Herd Test. Proving that they are not just pretty faces these show border collies can still work sheep. Kim has taken Paddy to the next level and gained his Australian Title, and currently working towards his obedience and agility titles.
