CL (Ceroid Lipofuscinosis) CEA (Collie Eye Anomaly)

The news is all good for the future of Tambovale Border Collies as  dogs bred at our kennels are now officially clear of the gene  responsible for the disease Ceroid Lipofuscinosis (CL) Also known as Battens Disease in children).  CL is fatal if your dog should have the desease he will not live past two years of age.  CL only presenting with subtle changes from the age of 15 until 22  months.
