It is with sadnes I convey this message, on the 20th April, 2010 my beautiful boy Hamish closed his eyes for the last time. After a short illness, in his own backyard laying in the sun with his head in my arms he slipped away peacefully. A beautiful soul gone to rainbow bridge to run free until we meet again....gone but never forgotten.
Au Ch Tambovale Tornado, Hamish.
Hamish was born on the 3rd of March, 1997. He was the most handsome babe born to Tingwall Georgie Girl, Pippa, and Au Ch Kennoway Kiwi Connection. 1 of 8 puppies and he stood out at birth. I remember picking him up at ten minutes of age and saying to him "my little Hamish welcome to the world". I had an instant bond with him. With no idea what the future would hold for him and me.
Hamish took me on a rollercoaster of showing and obedience and has been a dream to own and handle. Hamish spent 5 years of his life in Japan. He was five years old when he left for Japan. I wanted him to shine overseas but missed him the day. At 10 years of age Hiroshi and Kimiko Nagaya of Dazzlingblue Star kennels let my handsome man come home to retire and live his days out at home were his journey began. Although Hamish did not gain his Japanese title his progeny have gone on to bigger and better things. His daughter Au Grand Champion Jp Ch Dazzlingblue Star Dreamy Girl, Wendy. Owned, shown and loved by Greg Ritchens of Gremaric Border Collies. His daughter Au Ch Tambovale Calender Girl HT, his grandaughter Au Ch Tambovale Othe Mana Born, His great grandsons Au Champion King Oth Road, Morgan, and NZ Ch Tambovale Turn Back Time, Paddy. Another great grand son, Au Ch Tambovale Lord Nova, Wilson who have proven that not only is Hamish an Australian Champion he has progeny that have gone on to make us all proud. Too many to mention.
