VALE 29/08/2009 10 years young.
It is with sadness that I have to tell you all that our beloved Finny has passed away suddenly after a short illnes.  Our whole family has been touched by this remarkable dog who knew the english language and could talk it too.  I must say that even though Finny has left us his memory will go on in his progeny.  Tambovale Lord Nova, Wilson, is the spitting image of his dad in everyway possible. Not even a week has passed and Finnys last litter has arrived.  We will keep his daughter from this litter and continue on with his lines, temperament,type and the most beautiful nature anyone could wish for, just the best friend loyal to the end.  His flat mate Heath, our son, was with Finny when he passed away, Finn struggled to stand up to give Heath a nudge then collapsed and fell to the floor and went to sleep forever.
Gone but never forgotten.

On his passing two beautiful litters have arrived. Liam is his son from Borderart Kennels in NSW, and Bella his daughter from Kiradowns kennels in Melbourne Vic.  I will be keeping these two puppies, both chocolate and white and perfectly marked.  Finny left his best to last what a champion to the end.


Finnighan was a lovely, smart true to type Border Collie.  A producer of champions including a Polish Champion Oodnadatta Supa Shake, Opal.  Opal is Chocolate and White and owned by Ewa Lukasic of Never Never Land Border Collies in Poland. Opal is doing extra well at obedience also.  Finn has produced some lovely puppies and passes on his brains and beautiful temperament.  I am more than proud to have bred and owned such an icon in my kennels.   A big thankyou goes to Marilyn Adams of Glentress Kennels for allowing us to use her lovely dog Au Nz Ch Glentress Chain Reaction it is sad to think we are loosing his type in the ring.
