It is the aim of my husband and myself  to breed true border collies, stiving for good conformation, ideal temperament, looks and brains. We also strive to maintain their natural instincts towards herding.  With kind disposition towards stock.  The temperaments of our dogs and bitches are our number one priority as most puppies that are bred here usually go to pet homes or obedience homes Our dogs and puppies are all well socialized with children.  Our  daughter helps with that side of things and  enjoys her job immensly.  We have been involved with working dogs for around 30 years.  Purchasing our first purebred Border Collie 15 years ago.  Our first home bred Champion Au Ch Tambovale Tornado was bred in 1997,  the beginning of the show scene, sending us on a roller coaster ride and a  wonderful experience with these magic dogs.    Puppies bred at our stud have done well (and are doing well) at major shows and in good company.  Quite a few are following the obedience ring and gaining titles in all areas.   Tambovale dogs are still working  the sheep and cattle on our 60 acre farm.  Manny, Tambovale Othe Mana Born is no 1 at this job, and shows all the others just how to get it right.  There is nothing I like better than to take  the dogs out into the paddocks and watch them stretch their legs and run at top speeds around the property, what a sight to behold, taking a dive in the dam when their romping is over.  A truely beautiful animal.
